Across many rural communities, dependable access to safe drinking water is still out of reach. That unmet, or suppressed, demand is the starting point for everything we do.
The OASIS Box is a deployable safe drinking water system designed for these communities. Once installed, it delivers a steady supply of clean water and is built to be monitored, serviced, and verified to a recognised international standard, so the benefit it creates can be measured rather than assumed.

Water X takes safe-water programmes from first concept to verified carbon credit, and advises the partners building alongside us. For now we go deep on one thing rather than wide across many. Water is not one of the things we do; it is the thing we do.

The hardware
Every deployment runs on the OASIS Nano, a containerised, solar-direct reverse-osmosis system engineered as one 6 ft × 4 ft skid. It is what makes the water safe, and what makes the impact measurable.
The Nano treats brackish and chemically contaminated feedwater up to 1,600 ppm TDS, delivering 10,000 litres of safe drinking water a day on just 1.1 kW of solar, with no grid connection and no fossil-fuel back-up.
It is built and pre-commissioned before it ships, installs in a single day on site, and is monitored over LTE and satcom from the moment it is switched on, feeding live telemetry to the WaterHub dashboard that underpins our digital MRV.

Digital MRV
Credits are only as trustworthy as the data behind them. Our Climate-AI system, OASIS Link, turns every OASIS Box into a continuously monitored, independently auditable source of evidence, the digital backbone of our monitoring, reporting, and verification.
AI models read IoT sensor data, flow rates, pump efficiency and battery health, to predict equipment failure before it happens. Reinforcement learning schedules service to minimise downtime and cost.
Anomaly detection continuously watches TDS, microbial contamination and pH. Automated alerts flag contamination risk to operators, so response is immediate rather than reactive.
Machine learning weighs GIS and population data to place OASIS Boxes where demand is highest, then adjusts supply dynamically as that demand shifts.
A solar-powered telemetry unit inside every box streams water quality, flow and pump health over cellular — the evidence layer behind every litre.
Hardware, connectivity and cloud software feed one datalake, visualised in Power BI, so every claim we make to an auditor traces back to a timestamped, geotagged measurement.

Device-level, not sampled aggregates. Verra’s 2025 revision requires records “for each distributed device”, and Gold Standard sets 95%-confidence / 10%-margin thresholds. Monthly spreadsheet totals satisfy neither — a per-device, timestamped, append-only stream is built for exactly that bar.
